What began as a classroom question grew into a student-led investigation into cleaner water. Our junior secondary science team designed, tested and refined a simple filtration model using locally available materials.
Learning that makes a difference
At the regional science fair, students presented their findings, explained the limitations of their prototype and answered questions from visiting educators. Their work received a commendation for thoughtful research and practical impact.
The project brought together chemistry, design, data analysis and teamwork. We are proud of the persistence behind the result—and of the questions our students are already asking next.
